About the Role
We are looking for an experienced Workday Adaptive Planning Technical Consultant to design, develop, integrate, and support enterprise planning, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting solutions. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience with Workday Adaptive Planning, integrations, data modelling, APIs, automation, and reporting. The candidate should be comfortable working closely with functional teams and business stakeholders to deliver scalable planning solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, configure, and maintain Workday Adaptive Planning solutions.
- Develop planning models, dimensions, hierarchies, sheets, levels, accounts, and versions.
- Configure and maintain integration processes between Adaptive Planning and source/target systems.
- Work with Workday Adaptive Planning APIs, integration tools, and data loading processes.
- Perform data imports, exports, mappings, transformations, and validation.
- Develop and maintain automated data integration and data-loading processes.
- Design and optimize planning models based on business requirements.
- Develop reports, dashboards, and management reporting solutions.
- Troubleshoot technical, integration, data, and performance-related issues.
- Support testing, deployment, migration, and production activities.
- Work with functional consultants and business stakeholders to translate requirements into technical solutions.
- Prepare technical specifications, solution documentation, and project deliverables.
- Stay updated with new Workday Adaptive Planning features and capabilities.
Required Skills & Experience
- 2+ years of experience in Workday Adaptive Planning or relevant planning technologies.
- Strong hands-on experience with Adaptive Planning configuration and development.
- Experience with planning models, sheets, dimensions, levels, accounts, and versions.
- Strong understanding of data integration and data modelling.
- Experience with Adaptive Planning integrations and data loads.
- Knowledge of APIs, web services, and integration concepts.
- Experience with reporting, dashboards, and data validation.
- Knowledge of SQL and data transformation concepts will be an advantage.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Good communication and stakeholder management skills.
Good to Have
- Experience integrating Adaptive Planning with Workday, ERP, HRIS, CRM, or other enterprise systems.
- Knowledge of Workday Financial Management or Workday HCM.
- Experience with REST APIs and automation.
- Exposure to financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and workforce planning.
- Experience working with global clients and Agile delivery environments.
- Knowledge of other EPM / Planning platforms such as Anaplan, Oracle EPM, SAP Analytics Cloud, or OneStream.
Education
Any Graduate or Postgraduate degree from a recognized university.
Relevant Workday certifications and hands-on planning experience will be preferred.
