About the Role
We are looking for an experienced SAP BW Manager / Senior SAP BW Consultant to lead and manage data warehousing, reporting, and analytics initiatives. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on expertise in SAP BW, BW on HANA, and BW/4HANA, along with proven experience in team leadership, stakeholder management, and client-facing delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end SAP BW implementation, enhancement, migration, and support projects.
- Design and develop scalable data warehouse solutions using InfoObjects, ADSOs, InfoCubes, and CompositeProviders.
- Manage data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) processes from SAP and non-SAP sources.
- Design, monitor, and optimize process chains, data loads, and data flows.
- Perform performance tuning across SAP BW and SAP HANA environments.
- Work closely with business stakeholders to understand reporting, analytics, and data requirements.
- Translate business requirements into effective technical solutions and data models.
- Ensure data accuracy, consistency, quality, and governance across reporting solutions.
- Troubleshoot data loading, transformation, performance, and production issues.
- Coordinate with functional and technical teams to ensure timely project delivery.
- Lead and mentor team members and provide technical guidance.
- Participate in solution design, technical discussions, estimations, and project planning.
- Prepare technical documentation and ensure adherence to project standards.
Required Skills
- 8–12+ years of experience in SAP BW / SAP BW on HANA / BW/4HANA.
- Strong hands-on experience in SAP BW data modeling and data warehousing concepts.
- Expertise in ADSOs, InfoObjects, CompositeProviders, Transformations, DTPs, and Process Chains.
- Strong knowledge of SAP HANA modeling and performance optimization.
- Experience with data extraction, integration, transformation, and loading processes.
- Good understanding of SAP S/4HANA integration and data extraction.
- Exposure to SAP modules such as FI, SD, and MM.
- Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Experience in leading technical teams and managing project deliverables.
- Strong client and stakeholder management skills.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) and/or SAP BusinessObjects.
- Experience in BW/4HANA migration and transformation projects.
- Basic knowledge of ABAP for debugging and issue analysis.
- Exposure to SAP HANA SQL and advanced performance tuning.
- Experience working on large-scale enterprise data warehousing projects.
- Experience with Agile delivery methodologies.

Education
